SRM and Its Application
The frequency-selective radiation analyzer SRM is a frequency-selective measurement system designed for safety analysis and environmental measurement of high-frequency electromagnetic fields. The measurement range covers broadcasting, mobile phones and industrial fields from low-frequency long-wave to the latest wireless applications, and accurately evaluates the exposure level in the area according to international or national standards.
If the electromagnetic environment of offices, factories, public places or private houses is not clear, SRM can assist authorities and measurement service providers to quickly understand the field source situation in the area related to human safety.
If the environment of this area is known, such as the so-called "public area" where multiple service providers share an antenna site, SRM can show the overall electromagnetic field exposure level and the proportion of winter service providers in the area, in absolute terms or as a percentage of standard limits. With SRM, users can accurately break down service providers into separate frequency bands for measurement to understand their contribution to regional radiation. It is also possible to integrate the entire service provider's frequency range and display the absolute field strength results or percentages relative to the limits.
operation and use
All functions and parameters can be set directly in the SRM host via the main menu, numeric keys, softkeys or knobs, etc. Not only that, SRM can also save the measurement configuration and the entire measurement process, and can be recalled again. SRM comes with PC software "SRM-3006 Tools", which contains editable tables to add antennas and cables from other manufacturers, user-defined evaluation curves, and lists of suppliers and users.
Operation mode
SRM is a frequently used instrument, and its operation mode is also developed for the main application areas, including: safety evaluation, spectrum analysis, level recorder, oscilloscope, UMTS and LTE mode.
