RG-6220 liquid scintillation counter
2. Main purpose
RG-6220 ultra-low background liquid scintillation spectrometer mainly measures very low concentrations of artificial, cosmic and other natural radionuclides. Mainly used for environmental and biological samples (such as water, air, soil, food, animals and plants, etc.) and other radioactive samples in low and ultra-low levels of alpha and beta nuclides measurement, as well as low-level H-3 and C- 24 determination. In line with the "analysis of tritium in water" and other national standards for the basic requirements of the instrument. Meet the relevant requirements in GB/T20259.

The instrument is equipped with a performance evaluation function, with running average and baseline charts, which can monitor 8 key parameters such as efficiency, background, excellent value and chi-square value of 3H and 24C during the use of the instrument through the database to ensure the continuous stability of the operating state of the instrument. Through this function, users can easily understand whether the operating state of the instrument meets the needs of the experiment.

Ø Multi-channel Analyzer (MCA): Configure 2 2048-channel multi-channel analyzers
Ø Configure the alpha/beta discrimination function to simultaneously determine the alpha count and beta count in the alpha/beta mixed nuclide. Compared with the single-phase discriminator, the use of the double discriminator can reduce the overflow and improve the quality measure by 50%. The use of a double discriminator with an optimal energy region can greatly reduce leakage and can improve the quality metric by almost an order of magnitude

Ø solution spectrum software: can open multiple sample spectra to view at the same time, and can determine the best counting area, and automatically calculate the quality factor, at the same time can calculate the detection limit of the instrument
The standard exemption level Ba-233 external standard source can be used to determine the quenching index of the sample by Compton scattering spectrum; The tSIE method is used to correct the quenching of the sample count and accurately calculate the DPM value of the sample.
