Generally, street repair shops reserve three-way catalytic converters for commonly used models, but there are more than 10000 models in my country, and it is difficult for niche models to find suitable three-way catalytic converters.
The fifth method:
In order to make the engine reach the optimal working condition, the ignition time and fuel injection volume of the spark plug have strict requirements. By replacing the spark plugs of unqualified vehicles, counterfeiters can change the ignition time, replace the fuel injectors, reduce the fuel injection volume, and reduce the exhaust gas in the cylinder to cope with the inspection. The sixth method:
Counterfeiters add octane number improver to unqualified motor vehicles, thereby increasing the combustion temperature, and part of the carbon monoxide in the exhaust (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and other harmful gases are oxidized at high temperature, thereby reducing the concentration of pollutants in the exhaust gas.
The seventh method:
When some unqualified vehicles have a little oil left, a large amount of ethanol is added to the fuel tank to improve the combustion efficiency and change the exhaust gas composition. The detection line sets the detection items and parameters for the fuel vehicles, so that the vehicles exceeding the standard can pass the detection smoothly.
The eighth method:
The counterfeiter adjusts the resistance of the engine's electronic control circuit to temporarily change the engine's injection conditions to achieve the purpose of passing the test smoothly. This is an advanced form of fraud that is difficult to detect.
The ninth method:
Card detection is also a method of fraud. The counterfeiters install the license plate of the unqualified vehicle on the same qualified vehicle, and the vehicle exhaust detection is not inspected.VIN code (vehicle identification code), only the driving license information is registered, even in the face of surveillance cameras, unqualified vehicles can muddle through.
