HY-802 Radiation Monitoring Instrument (Neutron)

The HY-802 neutron probe serves as a basic unit for area radiation monitoring, used to measure neutron dose rates in the environment. By reflecting the neutron radiation levels in the environment in real time, it safeguards personal safety. It is widely used in nuclear power plants, reactors, accelerators, and other places that produce neutron radiation. The HY-802 neutron probe uses a moderator structure to ensure detection efficiency across various neutron energy ranges. It incorporates a low-noise preamplifier and a low-power linear power supply to ensure long-term operational stability. It provides RS-485 serial communication using the standard Modbus protocol, allowing direct connection to modern digital measurement systems or connection to a radiation monitoring host as a sub-unit.

  • Product Description
  • Features

    ●   This instrument uses a high-sensitivity  3  He proportional counter tube detector, which is fast and   easy to use;

    ●   The unique three-layer spherical design of the absorption layer/reflection layer/slowing-down layer detects neutrons   with energy up to 2 GeV, which can be used for proton beam detection and is suitable for accelerator fields   ;

    ●   The precise shielding structure around the detector effectively suppresses the influence of γ rays on neutron measurement,   and the γ suppression performance is good;

    ●   It can be used as a portable instrument or a fixed neutron dose monitoring instrument.

The HYGP-2223 type is a small high-sensitivity X-gamma radiation detector, which uses the latest low-power embedded microprocessor as the data processing unit, and the detector is composed of a highly sensitive scintillator and a high-range GM counter. The instrument is more sensitive to short-term pulse radiation and can detect short-term (≥ 20ms)X-pulse radiation. It has a wide range of uses, such as environmental monitoring (nuclear safety), radiation health monitoring (disease control, nuclear medicine), homeland security monitoring (entry and exit, customs), public safety monitoring (public security), nuclear power plants, laboratories and nuclear technology applications.
